It makes clothing and equipment for sports.
For example: jackets, rucksacks and tents.
These things are good for the environment.
What is important to VAUDE?

VAUDE wants to protect nature.
That's why the company uses little plastic, for example.
VAUDE pays the people in the factory enough money.
And everyone should be able to work well.
What can you do on the website?

You can look at lots of products.
For example jackets, shoes and bags.
You can also buy things.
There are lots of pictures of hikes or bike tours and lots of information about the company.
Is the website accessible?

The website is not yet fully accessible.
This means that some people have problems using it.
VAUDE wants to change this.

How to order something on vaude.com

1. Go to the website: www.vaude.com
2. Search for a product
You can enter a word at the top of the page. For example: "jacket"
Or you can click on a topic such as "women", "men" or "equipment".
3. Click on the product
You will see a picture and a name.
Click on the picture. This will take you to the product page.
4. Choose color and size
Choose your color (e.g. red or blue).
Choose your size (e.g. S, M or L). For backpacks, tents or sleeping bags, you do not need to select a size, as they are already selected.
Click on the "Add to shopping cart" button.
5. Go to the shopping cart
Click on the bag symbol at the top right.
You will see your selected products.
6. click on "Checkout"
You will be taken to the checkout.
Now you can log in at "Checkout with customer account" or order as a guest at "Checkout as a guest".
7. Enter your address
You must enter your name, street, zip code, city and country.
8. Choose your payment method
You can pay by credit card, PayPal, Google Pay or invoice.
Choose and enter the necessary information.
9. Check your order
Look at everything again: Product, size, price, address.
If everything is correct, click on "Buy now".
10. You will receive an email
The email will tell you what you have ordered.
You will receive another e-mail later when the package is dispatched.

Can I return products?

Yes.
You can return products if you don't want to keep them.
How long do I have?

You can return the products within 21 days of receipt.
The products must
  • be unworn,
  • not washed,
  • not broken
  • and be returned in the original packaging with a label.
Does the return cost money?

Yes.
You are responsible for the return and bear all the costs.
VAUDE does this because returns are bad for the environment.
If you are not sure about the size, use the size chart .
Then the product will fit better - and you won't have to send anything back.
How returns work - step by step:

1. Packing the product
Place the products and the return label in the parcel.
Write on the return label why you are sending the product back.
2. affix the return label
Affix the return label from the shipping provider of your choice to the parcel.
3. drop off the parcel
Take the parcel to the nearest parcel collection point.
Important: Keep the receipt!
What happens after the return?
As soon as the parcel arrives at VAUDE, you will receive an email.
Your money will then be refunded.
This can take up to 14 days.
If a product is used or broken, you may get less money back.
Can I exchange the product?

No.
An exchange is not possible.
If you want the product in a different colour or size:
  • Return the old product
  • Place a new order in the online shop
